One Vision International gladly works alongside corporations to establish Corporate Philanthropy programs. Corporate philanthropy refers to the giving by a for-profit company directly to charitable organizations with the intention of improving the quality of life. The expense incurred through voluntary donations is typically planned as part of the company's annual budgeting process. Corporate philanthropy is a key component of a corporation's broader social responsibility and includes cash gifts, product donations, and employee volunteerism. In addition to theses types of support, in-kind support such as the donation of equipment, the use of corporate facilities, printing or design services, or access to staff expertise are common forms of corporate giving as well.
Planned giving is another way to give financially to One Vision. Planned giving refers to various means by which a donor can leave money/assets to a nonprofit at his/her death; or a way to invest money so that the donor receives benefits during his/her life and then bequeaths the remaining funds to the nonprofit. Planned giving is typically done in conjunction with estate planning, and is a viable option for donors of all income levels.
From a donor's perspective, planned giving is attractive for many reasons. It may allow you to make larger gifts than you otherwise could out of your current assets. There are many easy giving options from which a donor can choose, including naming One Vision International as a beneficiary in your will to more complex trust arrangements.
